Neuhauser Augustiner in Munich

The restaurant has a nice large outdoor area, or actually two. But also occupies a lot of parking spaces. The residents thank them. Especially in winter and in times of Corona very sensible and absolutely inconsiderate.

We have been eating there almost every week for 3 years. I especially like the salads. We also regularly use the day pass, which is very varied. For the Kaiserschmarrn there should be at least two of you, but it's worth it. The service is always friendly but sometimes understaffed. One could criticize the offered wines, but in a Bavarian inn this is of secondary importance.

We are regulars and were satisfied as always.

A cozy place with good food and very nice service !!! As a rustic Bavarian restaurant, it is a nice restaurant with candles on the tables and the large windows make a good impression! In my opinion, the tables could do with a nice central ceiling as decoration and a little flower on them! Doesn't have to be old-fashioned ... There are now so tasty little things !! The light could also be set a little more subtle ... It is as bright as in an economy 😇😅 I like it a little more subdued to the candlelight! The food was very good for my understanding! My husband criticized the dumpling because it was too hard and probably not fresh! Unfortunately, he didn't tell the super nice waiter 🤔 I think you have to pass this on to the kitchen! We will definitely go there again and the next date has already been set 😉🤗😇

Why are parking lots used as beer gardens, even though nobody is sitting outside at these temperatures? Just because you have a right to it? Consideration looks different ...

The food was great and there very quickly. The service was very friendly and you have to try the homemade apple fritters.

Were to visit Munich and wanted a real Bavarian ambience and food. We found both there to our complete satisfaction. Beautiful beer garden, super nice service staff and delicious food. Will definitely be reserved for our next visit to Munich.

The food tastes good. The service was friendly and admitted their mistakes. Unfortunately the portions were not the same size. And the shandy didn't taste good either. The beer was somehow mixed with soda and water. In any case, it tasted strange. Pity!

Ok place where you can have nice food but service could be better

We have been there for the third time, the food is always fantastic! The duck is great! Today I had the veal roast, which was also awesome! Only one point deduction because the service is very friendly but not very attentive because (I think) understaffed We'd love to come back anyway!

Super delicious food in a great atmosphere. Waitresses are extremely friendly and accommodating. We often come here to eat and drink.

Quite a hidden place. We found the place accidentally as our Greek restaurant is closed for the vacation. It’s a good place to stop by to enjoy the German beer and food with the local touch. The service was nice. The food were good but it would looked better with a bit of vegetable decorations. 😉

One star is awarded for satisfactory food. The service is the major disaster and would have deserved 0 stars. Completely overwhelmed and takes a long time. At least they're friendly. I would not come again ....

Very cozy and delicious Bavarian cuisine. In summer on mild nights, it is my first point of contact in the neighborhood. The service is also very nice and the prices are cheap for Munich.

Nice staff, good beer and enormous portions! Even the salads are good. The big outdoor seating helps to keep distance during corona.

We went here for a coffee and a snack. The staff was very rude even though we were trying our best to communicate in German. The place looks traditional Bavarian with nice rustic furniture.

A German restaurant just a 10 minute walk from the MEININGER Hotel. The food is reasonably priced and there are more than enough, and the drinks range from alcohol to non-alcoholic. The clerk was friendly and the Japanese shop was easy to enter. The photo is a turkey cutlet. Danke Schane

Delicious food at fair prices. We also liked it, that there was an extra lunch menu with "smaller" dishes. We sat in the beer garden and found it very pleasant. The service was friendly and fast.

Waitress was very rude. We requested an English menu and the waitress agreed to bring one over. We waited 10mins only to watch her walk by several times to attend to others but never dropping off the menu. We stopped the waitress again to ask for the menu just in case she forgot but we were told in a very very rude tone and manner to WAIT, annoyance written all over her face. She continued to wait on others and we left.

The restaurant is located outside the classic tourist areas and is visited more by the residents in Neuhausen. It is very nice to sit outside under linden trees thanks to the quiet street. The service is very friendly, competent and dedicated. The wine list is surprisingly good. The beer menu also has a comprehensive offer. The food: typical Augustiner, but well done. Very large portions, reasonable prices. Even when it started to rain, it was cozy under awning. Overall: we are satisfied and full.

Excellent beer garden with all traditional Bavarian dishes and of course excellent beer. Being in a residential area makes it more frequented by local people than by tourists, certainly a plus. The best Schweinebraten I have eaten in Bavaria. Super recommended.

Try the Weiswurst. Seriously though, the staters are great, and the beer is so old you'd need an artifact to damage it. This place has age, taste, and charisma to boot. Cannot recommend it enough.

The self-service area is always a good idea, but in the serviced part there is usually a very long wait for food. And the food is not that great (Haxe was very dry) and very pricy.

For good value, German food and friendly, nice people serving you, visit this Augustiner. They have lots of outdoor tables and the location is really quiet and pleasant. All round a great place. And they serve the best beer in München!
